What is Bulletproof Labs?

Bulletproof Labs is the first facility in the world dedicated to biohacking optimal cognitive, physical and life performance. Labs merges state-of-the-art biohacking equipment with individualized programming and science-based fun so you can experience results customized for your biology and life.

What is Biohacking?

Biohacking is the art and science of becoming superhuman. Through biohacks, you can change the environment outside and inside of you so you have full control of your biology, allowing you to upgrade your body, mind, and life.

How is Bulletproof Labs different from a gym?

Bulletproof Labs is a “biohacking facility,” which means we provide shortcuts to increase physical and cognitive performance through science-backed information and cutting-edge technologies.

What results & benefits can I expect from going to Bulletproof Labs?

The equipment, services, and supplements at Bulletproof Labs will help you…

  • Increase resilience
  • Supercharge energy
  • Enhance recovery and immune system function
  • Avoid jet lag
  • Manage your weight
  • Boost self-confidence
  • Rejuvenate skin
  • Elevate creativity and focus
  • Enhance mindfulness and mood

Will I be assigned a Personal Trainer?

Nope. Since Bulletproof Labs is a “biohacking facility,” you will be taken good care of by a highly qualified BioHacker Technician (BHT). Using the results of your “Bulletproof Baseline” (how we measure your Bulletproofness), your BHT creates a customized program designed to drive change unique to your biology and goals. Enjoy the experience of being coached as you leverage shortcuts (hacks) to increase your physical, cognitive and life performance.

How often should I visit Bulletproof Labs?

The individualized programming, time saving shortcuts, and diverse equipment and services make it safe and extremely effective to visit Labs daily. However, one to three visits per week will transform your body, boost your mind and elevate your ability to experience and enjoy life.

How long is a typical session at Labs?

Generally less than 30 minutes.  Every biohack is designed to deliver more results in less time, so our treatments are incredibly efficient.  Some can be completed in less than 5 minutes, a few are up to 45 minutes.  The vast majority of our individual interventions can be completed start to finish is about half an hour.   Many members will do more than one biohack at a time either in serial or parallel. It would be very unusual for you to have to spend more than an hour at Labs even if you are doing multiple interventions during your session.

Can beginners attend Labs?

Yes! All levels are welcome. We will adjust each piece of biohacking equipment to meet your needs and goals.

Can pregnant women attend Labs?

No.  While we do not allow participation in our programming while pregnant, we do recommend coming to Labs to strengthen your body from the inside out if you’re planning on becoming pregnant in the future.

Do I need to schedule appointments or are walk-ins welcome?

Members can schedule visits, but walk-ins are welcome.

Will I be shown how to use the equipment?

Yes! Safety is very important at Bulletproof Labs. Our team has been certified and trained on all of the equipment. BioHacker Techs will guide you through sessions every step of the way.  They will also consult with you on how to stack treatments and interventions for maximum performance gains over time.

How should I prepare for my first visit?

It is recommended that you wear or bring loose, comfortable clothing (like fitness attire) and training shoes (like sneakers). For your safety, make sure you hydrate before a Bulletproof Labs session. 3D Body Scan sessions require tight-fitting clothes for both women and men. If you will be doing Cryotherapy, please make sure you are completely dry and have no chemical substances on your skin (i.e. chemical fertilizers, deodorant, perfume, etc.).

Once you sign up for your session(s), you will then have access to all waivers and pertinent information through the Bulletproof Labs App. PLEASE READ THIS CAREFULLY PRIOR TO ARRIVING. We will also go through this with you in detail prior to your first session.

What should I bring to the Labs?

Please bring a water bottle and wear or bring loose, comfortable clothing or fitness attire. For those doing the 3D Body Scan, tight fitting clothing is recommended. For those doing Cryotherapy, please wear shorts (and a sports bra for women). Gym shoes are also required. If you are using the Virtual Float Tank or training in our Brain Room you may want to bring a journal to capture insights and learnings.

We provide towels, robes, and lockers.

Are there changing facilities?

Yes. There are two changing rooms, a restroom, and multiple lockers.  There are no onsite showers.

Do I come on an empty stomach?

It is recommended that you eat something light prior to physical activity. You can always stop by the Bulletproof Coffee Shop for some fuel. 🙂

What does a typical first visit consist of?

After some initial paperwork members are guided through the Bulletproof Baseline – our tool for measuring Bulletproofness. After reviewing your results and understanding your desired outcomes, your BHT then creates a training program that is customized to your biology and goals.
